About:
“ZEQ2-Lite is an open-sourced and mod expandable project based on a highly modified ioQuake3 engine foundation and features many true-to-reference DBZ visuals and mechanics. Additionally, there exists a custom from-scratch particle system as well an extended number of configuration files that can be used to control character skills (visually & mechanically), world particle effects, forms / transformations / tiers, music playlists, and other aspects. This attribute makes the project more than simply another DBZ modification as strong capabilities exist for user mod creation exists without need for actual programming”
Ever wonder what happened to Bid for Power? Wonder no more. Keep in mind this is SVN beta so; slack, cut it.

You downloaded the latest svn but not the most stable one.
The playable/stable svn version is 1536, anything above that is for development purposes. So if you want to play online, use revision 1536
Right click your zeq2lite folder, tortoiseSVN, update to revision, then enter 1536.
I honestly thank you for the update. This was captured in/on Linux. I used svn co http://zeq2.com/SVN/Build from a console. Do you (no offense) have instructions for us Linux users?

What I am saying is “Right click your zeq2lite folder, tortoiseSVN, update to revision, then enter 1536.” makes zero sense to %100 of our visitors.
Alternative?
So, how does one do that from the console?
Oh, have no doubt. I will capture an epic battle and make a trailer.
how to activate spectator mode:
go into game, open console, enter: /team spectator
Oh my goodness, I had no idea such a cool game existed! OMG gotta go download it now :D
Please, read the SVN development topic first before you download anything, everything is explained step by step what to do. If you go on the wrong version, the game will be unstable and not worth playing at all, as I said before, all servers (or the good servers) are hosted on the stable version 1536.

Okie dokie, I am taking the time to read through things right now. Not rushing in, don’t worry :)
The game is pure eye candy. Double so; considering it’s Q3 based. The online players (that I encountered) are, unhelpful?
Seems spectator mode does not exist? So it was all “hey, mind if I capture some video of you guys fighZAP!!!”, “Hi Venn from L.G.C. trying to help promotZAP!!!”
Hahaha zap lol. Well I’m still trying to set things up. A bit confused with Tortoise SVN at the moment ( Searching for the x64 source code, or linux build. I can only find .msi )
Yes, you need to be lucky to get some helpfull guys in there :p
But there is a manual: http://zeq2.com/lite/?p=64 , it’s still from the previous version, but there hasn’t been that many changes in that area, except for the stun that’s gone.
Regarding the spectator mode/scoreboard, yes those functions are temporarely disabled right now.

Hmm, I reworked some bits and had a new capture http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY1A_8J2hN8&feature=channel_video_title
I would go about making a proper (non 4:3) trailer but is that needed? Or is it *guess what rev we are on now / sip PBR* and wonder?
Sorry I’m 11 months to late :p
But to spectate: /team spectator in console, to join back : /team join
What is it that kills you in the end?
Well, he was on the latest revision, which in we are rebalancing everything, he already damaged himself with doing attacks without any fatigue, if your fatigue is empty and you are still attempting to do an attack, you will gain damage, at the last attack he drained his last bit off health and died.
Lack of bacon.
