I'm one of the people who had 0 problems with tomb raider, and I'm running compton and didn't had to turn it off. To be honest one time it froze and I had to change to a different workspace and come back to fix it, which was really weird. Performance is great, then again I have a 1080 so maybe I'm not the best person to talk about performance.
