I've been watching all those different attempts at making gaming handheld PCs, but I'm still waiting for one I like. I remember watching the development of the Pandora from Open Pandora. Unfortunately, that ended up being underwhelming for how expensive it was. The Smach Z looked promising, but I'll be very surprised if it lives up to expectation, if it comes out at all.

I'd kill for a good PC gaming handheld. I wouldn't even need it to play higher end games, I'd be fine with it just playing 2D indie games. My Priv with a bluetooth gamepad does scratch that itch a bit, but there are very few good traditional games that end up on Android anymore. I mostly just have Shovel Knight, the Shantae series, and those kinds of games on there, not to mention RetroArch.

While I don't like the layout of the GPD Win 2 (nor the first one), maybe I should give it a shot when it comes out. Maybe it'll surprise me.
