I HIGHLY recommend you buy the Studio version of Resolve like I did! You DO get MP4/h.264 support in the Studio version and all the extra effects and GPU acceleration and it works so well! I am a video and multimedia professional, so obviously it's worth it to me as a business expense, however $300 on time for such a great editor on Linux is not bad at all!!
