I don't think I saw you mention these news in the last show, perhaps because it's not Linux-related, but certainly open-source related.
Interestingly enough, on the 20th anniversary of Warcraft3, Blizzard legal sent a cease-and-desist letter to Modder Retera, author of the WarSmashModEngine, asking him to shut it down immediately.
Although you usually talk about soulless corporations in the show, I wonder what would be your opinions on that.
This seems particularly backstabby, as the guy apparently helped with the development of the remaster. There is an interesting comparison to what happened with EA and OpenRA, an almost identical situation with completely different outcome.
