Tor

Last week, during the news story about Tor users being targeted; this caught my eye, and made me flip a table...

"...as well as people who reject location tracking by apps on their smart-phone..."

Concerning for me, as I reject all location tracking on my smart-phone by default, as it isn't need, but mainly to save resources.

Having looked back probably, the article actually says...

"The EFF SAYS that Tor and VPN users, as well as people who reject location tracking by apps on their smartphone, COULD all be targeted for remote access, seizure or copying of data."

Legitimate concern, or sensationalistic 'journalism'?

I've already dumped my copy of Tails, and got rid of all my brown friends so I'm not a target. Now do I have to allow location tracking for all apps on my smart-phone too?
