I am using a Behringer xenyx x1222usb as an analog mixer and the focusrite as my audio and midi interface.

My principle use case is audio and midi recording with ardour, hydrogen and vcvrack on Ubuntu studio 20.4

The xenyx received beer unwillingly and was coaxed back into service but has gaps in functionality and noisy players at the upper limit even with master volume down.

I am thinking to replace them both with one mixer-interface.
Is there something other than the soundcraft signature 12 mtk I should consider?

I like your low cost linux attitude and I respect your opinion.

I am trying to sync external sequencer and midi keys etc. So low latency is my goal. Preference is below 7 milliseconds.
