Venn, I got it installed on Pop!_OS using your method.

Only issue I had was exporting. I would get no audio at all. The only way I could figure it out was export the video and audio separately then combine all the audio into one file with Audacity then finally put it all together with Kdenlive and export there.

Even if I can't ever get the audio to export, then I will continue to use Resolve on Linux with this workflow. It's a great editor and the color grading is so powerful.
