In the last show Venn asked what it would be like being a new Linux user in 2023.

First step was choosing a distro, I went with Mint purely because I heard Ubuntu was easier on new users for whatever reason, and Mint looked neato.

In the time I've been using solely Linux on my main PC I've come up with some rules for myself. If I come across something and I dunno what it is, either: don't fuck with it OR just Google it.

Game doesn't work? ProtonDB. There'll be about 20 people with a complete guide to make it work.

But, Eggo, you may ask. How do you configure [thing] for your audio? Or choose a window manager or whatever the fuck? An excellent question. I simply don't, just leave it default and don't fuck with it, it is literally that easy.
