Streaming

Dear LGC,

I finally got around to write the below feedback that hopefully you'll feature on the show.

I really don't understand all the excitement by linux users about the Google game streaming solution I think any cloud based game streaming is a huge punch in the gut for gamers and gaming as a whole.
If the game is hosted in the cloud you have no access to game files and assets and pretty much get a game as a service when a company decides to kill that game or the company goes under you lose the game forever.
With so many open source projects that kept old games alive in one form of another for example emulators, open source engines (openMw, openRA and others), wine etc.

If we didn't have access to the games data we wouldn't be able to play all these amazing games that were forsaken by their manufacturers or that run on hardware that's impossible to get in 2018.
I just wanted to bring all these points to your attention.

Sorry for the super long rant.
Keep up the amazing work!!
