I am new to Linux and have never played a video game like Doom ever - not even in Windows.

I have Wine installed in my Debian-based distro. I am guessing, I need to purchase the game by downloading the pc version. I guess that cost around $ 15. Or I could purchase a used cd-version at a resale shop.

And then I simply open the game in Wine.

Correct ??
