I had to laugh at the Skull Girls devs jumping from "Lab Zero" to "Hidden Variable". In physics, we know that trying to blame the randomness of quantum mechanics on so-called "hidden variables" only works if FTL communication is possible (and that invites time travel paradoxes, so...).
Consequently, most physicists (who don't pretend to be game devs) believe that "hidden variable theories" are pretty much dead.
Not really a great name choice for a software company. It almost suggests that games will always be promised to be released before they actually could.
