Not sure where you heard that LHQ would be integrating with fwupd, but I currently have no plans to support that. The goal of this tool is to help us identify users' hardware so that we can properly configure our kernels to support them. It may get used in other parts of Solus at some point in the future, but those would be announced in one of our blog posts.
