Once again the whole video/audio stack gets yet another XKCD 927 reference.
This time, it's video! In the blogpost Christian Schaller hedges a bit whether pipewire is supposed to also replace pulseaudio, but I get the feeling that he wants it to eventually.

I guess this could be a good thing, eventually, after the bugs, the headaches and all screaming is done. Just like Wayland. Guess this is also supposed to solve the video capture and streaming problems that Wayland has.
