I remember Lobo back in the day. An alien that killed his entire planet (or something to that effect) to be a one-of-a-kind. I had a couple of issues, it was one of the only DC books I found interesting.
I bet in the reboot he’s just running away from home because his parents just don’t understand him. Aww.. so sad.
