Ok I bought one of these boxes and I have to say I am inpressed for the money, or should I say bang for the buck. I wanted a Quad Core but found this Octo Core and so far it rocks along without any complaints on any game. All I can say right now is wow. I did have to turn on the Port60/64 on in the bios, without it linux complains about usb. Other than that I had no setup issues with migrating my drives out of the Dual core Alienware to this new system.
Used the 8150 Black edition for our render box. Never expected much in gaming performance but yeah, it’s snappy.
For the price it makes a good gaming system when your budget doesn’t exceed your champagne tastes. I ran some tests and it beat some i7 8x cpu’s. So I don’t feel bad, and the video card makes a huge difference on gaming too. I wish I had the money to buy what I really want but this I am content with.
