I am in need of some help, I can not find any good ansi editors for linux that work. I need to create a couple ansi graphics for my Synchronet BBS for linux. I have it up and running and will be adding packet radio to the system once I have all the kinks worked out. It is a BBS if you want to look you can download Syncterm and logon at fjbbs.gotdns.com using telnet. You can also get to it by webpage at http://fjbbs:gotdns.com:8000

hell; the only way I know is to make something in GIMP and export it as ASCII/ANSI

Have you tried some NFO creators? I know they are usually only ASCII but may be worth a look in.
