MemberI’ve missed LGC for at least a month now. I used to watch it regularly both to help me build up a stock of games and because there’s nothing to watch on Saturday’s. Then, when I was watching live over a month ago, Jordan mentioned how good Battlestar Galactica (2004 TV series) was. I had been prejudiced against the overly military/war aspect of it that made it look like a lot of low budget war movies from the past decade that I hate. I disliked the original series from the 80’s as well. With Jordan’s recommendation and absolutely nothing to watch over the holidays, I gave it a try. This is science fiction at it’s best. Every bit as good and addictive as Firefly or Lost. I’m already through the first 2 seasons – and they are long seasons with 20 episodes in season 2. I’ve two more long seasons to go. I hope it ends better than Lost though. Why do science fiction series always struggle with a good ending?
