I seriously doubt it.
Bioshock Infinite is *the* DirectX 11 game I’ve been waiting to get wine support (until the port announcement). I’ve been reading each wine changelog with hope seeing improvements in DX11 and bringing support for this game.
I don’t believe that VP has done in a couple months what Codeweavers hasn’t in years.
My guess is that this port is more closely related to the Mac port than the Windows version, which would also suck since it would be using OpenGL 3.2
The best case scenario would be that this is a native port, using OpenGL 4.4 (with *maybe* a fallback to OpenGL 3.2) and done by Icculus but will we get *that* lucky?December 8, 2014 at 2:34 pm #72637
I am wishing to the FSM with all my might.December 8, 2014 at 6:32 pm #72639
You know there was a project that Icculus could not talk about a while back and he said would be coming around the 1st of the year…….December 8, 2014 at 6:39 pm #72640Venn StoneKeymaster

I was stupid enough to actually download it because I hadn’t read this forum post at the time. So now I have 14.3 gigs of bioshock that can’t run wasting space…December 10, 2014 at 11:50 pm #72667OrnParticipant

I’m afraid that this Icculus project is “giana sisters twisted dreams” since the developers are like “yeah we just received linux version form the people we outsourced it to, so its coming soon”
