    After the Ubuntu 12.04 upgrade I get this when starting Cheese.�

    Turns out it has shite nothing to do with a bad camera. Cheese is hung trying to generate thubnails for existing videos. Head over to�cd /home/YOURLOGIN/Videos/Webcam and delete all the things.�

    Bam! Cheese should now work.�
