ParticipantDevastation is an old FPS ported by Icculus, never heard of it until last weekend. I might record another video, for some reason Youtube didn’t publish the [email protected] version. I later realised the game could be played at 1920×1080 by editing a text, if I record another video it will be FHD.

Quick chairquisition:
MWTW: the game crashes quite often (this is a beta, the game was never officially released on Linux): 2 chairs
Shinies: UE2 game, I’d say it looks just as good as Postal 2 (so not very good): 2 chairs
Controls: You often get stuck by random stuff on the ground or NPCs, other than that it’s fine: 3 chairs
FUN: It reminded me of Postal 2 and Shadow Warrior while not being nearly as fun as any of them: 2 chairsJuly 22, 2015 at 11:35 am #74579WrenchTurner
MemberMakes me want to go back and play Half-Life 2, which was about the same vintage and super amazing by comparison.
I will have to say that a lot of these old FPS games have great longevity. I’ve been hacking away at System Shock 2 lately, and with updated character models, I think the game would still be relevant today.November 25, 2015 at 10:12 am #75358RTheren

ParticipantRTheren wrote:Installed via Wine and copied files extracted from Loki’s installerI think that’s the problem. I don’t remember doing that and I think the Loki installer is able to install the game with the CD and without having to install it in Wine before.
