Bay is obsessed with unintelligible editing, explosions, and objectifying women. He has won 2 Razzie’s (for Transformers).
Emmerich is obsessed with destroying famous landmarks. He has been nominated for 2 Hugos (Stargate, Independance Day).
Neither of them are Orson Welles, but I’d have to go advantage Emmerich too.

The Beastie’s Sabotage soundtrack was a real WTF for me too. It’s really too bad because the cast is pretty good… but it’s not Star Trek anymore.
