It's just a few screenshots right now, but I figured I'd let you know about the next game we're working on Ensign 1. It will be quite fun, space combat mixed with FPS. I'm hoping it will work out quite well.

What's the story?

We'll be focusing on the multiplayer part first, so not much on story. But the singleplayer campaign will involve this huge space carrier ensign heading back from deep space to find earth overrun, and it'll be up to you through a series of missions to take it back.

I made a little test video with a mock-up level showing our space billboards. Couldn't get the audio-syncing up perfectly, but oh well, tomorrow.

Just thought I'd post a recent picture of our progress in Ensign 1. I got lasers working (with the artistic help of Rustybolts). The pieces are starting to fall together.

Multiplayer FPS is shaping up, hopefully we should have a new video coming out in a couple of days.

Got an even newer video, showing off our progress. And sorry Venn, wasn't able to knock out all the kinks in time, so had to limit the number of players I let in. I'll squash those bugs and set up a full multiplayer match if you still would like to make a video sometime.
