ParticipantSo, I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about ETS2 but… is it really worth $40? Steam still only shows it as being for Windows only as well; so do they even have linux binaries?

MemberLol in 1992 I was given this nic from a group in germany. Before the movie ever came out. I was a distro point for things that came calling in the middle of the night. Sore_loser I was in Haltom City then just outside of Ft. Worth. Had a bag phone that had a metro wide number so it was local to anyone in Dallas which I forwarded it the second line of my BBS. Oh it was a Baud Bandit BBS written by Richard Stockton who I have talked to in the last year. Baud Bandit BBS was written in Rexx. I then changed to C-Net BBS for Amiga. Oh those were the days………….we ran USR HST modems at that time. Oh the memories……….I knew Bullfrog not just the group but the actual individual who was behind it all. Interesting story. That was back in my Commodore/Amiga days. I still have a C64, C128, Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, and Amiga 3000 all in working order.Tons of disks for them too.Oh look what you did Sore_Loser made me go back in time. That made me think about the 300 baud modem that came with my first C64……..

ParticipantI have over 14GB worth of SID music I stilll listen to all the time. Even got a SID player for my android phone. (SID (Sound Interface Device) is the built-in Programmable Sound Generator chip of Commodore’s CBM-II, Commodore 64, Commodore 128 and Commodore MAX Machine home computers.)
I use FRODO every now and then to play Impossible Mission, or use the web (http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/classi … modore-64/)
oh; speaking of that, here’s some nice C64 8bit sites: http://www.c64web.com/August 21, 2013 at 7:55 am #69097Pedro Mateus
KeymasterSteering you lot back on topic…
It depends on how much you like driving and (semi-)accurate depictions of driving. Personally, I think so. Unfortunately, the Linux version still has a few bugs (at least on my end).
Addendum: in order to play on Linux you have to opt in to the testing build in the “Betas” tab.

I notice performance issues here and there even on a GTX 670. And the internet music player doesn’t work due to mp3 licensing. You can add ogg files and it works well though, but I really would like that feature to be in the game.
What other bugs did you discover Pedro?
