    Feral have no other choice, it’s either this or lose a sizable amount of moolah by abandoning the mac people.

    I know Feral loves us but their (and Aspyr’s) primary customer base are those filthy mac people.

    Metal but be a truly magical beast to be able to run games such as Deus Ex or Mad Max on shitty hardware like the Mac has.

    Only the 27′ imac’s with the mobile r9 390/395 can drive the game at I’m guessing just over 40 ferps if using Metal and knowing mac ports, they will be gimped compared to the windows version. I do hope though Feral is secretly working some Vulkan magic so that at least the linux port will be on Vulkan. AFAIKFTI Metal to Vulkan translation is more or less the same amount of work as DX12 to Vulkan (which I heard is relatively easy compared to DX -> OGL).

    But yeah the 21′ imac’s with the iris 6200’s, they’ll have a cinematic experience of 15-20ferps at the lowest if they’re lucky.
