Got some new speakers…

Well, not happy with my laptop’s speakers (and the fact I’ve failed in getting spdif / optical surround working under linux) I was given this free speaker system; Harman / Kardon Sound Sticks III (http://bit.ly/1jQ9okZ)
The subwoofer is pretty nice; just wish the proprietary cables were a bit longer (esp the right side) but hey, it became a permanent collection at New York City�s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) … so that can’t be too bad, right?

They’re still pretty nice speakers; considering A) first 2.1 speakers I’ve ever owned that cost $200, and they were free/a gift.

I got a 2.1 speaker system from NGS for �25 and I can’t really complain.

The Woofer has enough of a humpf to audibly shake the glass windows around it.
