Here it is, the much awaited racing game. I admit getting this one a couple weeks ago while it was available in a Humble Bundle, I don’t regret doing this. I don’t mind paying full-price for a game, but it has to be a game I enjoy playing and from the little time I spent with it, I feel like I’ll be playing a lot more Ridge Racer and Burnout Paradise in Wine. Yes, I’m one of those heretics who prefer arcade games rather than simulation racing. I suck at simulation games and therefore simulation games suck. This game actually seems to be pretty good but it’s way too serious for my tastes.
Anyway, about the port. It ran out of the box, at above 60 FPS on Ultra. I have no idea how it compares to the Windows version performance-wise and I don’t care enough to install the game a second time right now. Only bug I found: vibration is missing.

It didn’t run for me until I disabled that Launcher thing from always showing. Nick from Feral says it’s probably a bug with Non-English locales. Since the Steam Box version never showed it, it ran out of the box on that one.

I managed finishing last after setting the game to Very Easy. For the record, I managed to beat Dirt Showdown on normal difficulty without any major issue.
Well, I guess I’m done here, time to move on, I have lots of other games to play.
