Anyone else noticed this……..
1. When you look in Steam for games for linux you only see a few, you never get the entire list. Ex. Click Store, then click Games and choose SteamOS + Linux…… The list in not complete no where near the 500 titles.
2. Try a search based on Linux and you get a mix of all platform games, but if you look you now see games that were not in the other list.
Why can’t I do a pref setting for Linux and see all the titles made for Linux? Why are there titles that I have never heard of or ever seen until I browse all games?
Come on really can’t we make an easier search in the Steam App?
What is everyone elses take on this?
In the Steam Store (or steampowered.com) click the “Search” eyeglass icon. Then, on the search page change “All Items” to “Games” and “Any OS” to “Linux”. Boom. Now you can even sort by metascore.
Number 1 is easy enough to rectify. If you want to see the full list of Linux games that are available on Steam, click the Games link in the Find More section. The search page will come up with Linux selected as the platform of choice and you can then check out a list of all of the Linux games that are available.
