I’m glad this critter is FTP this weekend. I can’t get a solid 5min without it nopeing the FK out. When it’s not crashing getting around 47FPS @ 1080 /w most things on high. Load times hover in the 20-30 sec range.

Yes, this is on the Ubuntu 32-bit 12.04 LTS boxen running the latest NVIDIA beta drivers.

They released WAAY too early. I have plenty of time to come here and talk shit while waiting for the FK’n thing to load.

That’s exactly what I did while I sat at a black screen with sounds playing gently in the background… like a soothing lullaby of delicious trolliness.

    I’m on a fk’n budget too… why’d I buy this abortion?

I bent it over and gave it a hard nopeing. Went back to the loving arms of Quakeworld… and saw a player I haven’t seen in years… even traded emails.

Happily ever after and all that BS.

    Steam sales.

Making you feel a little better about your silly decisions, since 2006.

Oh and still no sound, PAVUControl doesn’t even show NS2 as being a playback source.

I’ve had no issues with it so far. Optimizing took a while, but the load screens are no longer than say Crysis. Haven’t had any crash or sound issues either. Performance it could be better, but I noticed that vsync goes to 30fps instead of 60fps which makes it a little laggy. Other than that working great.

PS. Working great on a 64-bit ARCH! Installation with the Nvidia Beta drivers running at 2560×1080 on a GTX 670. Now I should my own drink ;)

Same as z1lt0id. Optimizing took ages, but after that I played through the tutorial without any problem. Now let’s try multiplayer.
