    As you guys mentioned last week, NFS2 has got cross-platform port on github

    I’ve played this game more than 10 years ago, so I gave it a go.

    Status report:
    1. Compiling: Had to download 32bit libraries of yasm, sdl2 and opengl. It compiled in less than 5 seconds.
    2. Actual gameplay:

    I’ve played this on Intel Integrated Graphics.
    No crash, freeze, anything.

    It just works.

    hmm… I have the cd image mounted but i still get the “needs fedata” message

    EDIT:
    had to convert bin to iso image first; script doesn’t like fuse mounted drives.

    worked great but … man did i play the fuck out of that game when it first came out and now i can’t imagine what drugs i must have been on

    Yeah, we need to provide a better way of detecting CD-ROMs, the one we have is too strict.
