Do you think there is a way to get them to start an advocate program like the CodeWeavers did to help with installs and find issues that need to be fixed?
If so this could give them a run for their monies. The other reason I ask is that is the only real reason people use CrossOver.
You can request a possible fix for a program or popular game and they will look into it and find a fix. I know any changes or fixes done in Crossover are then fed into the Wine patches.
Thoughts, opinions (yeah i know everyone has one like an asshole).
Edit: Another question, wouldn’t it be correct to assume once there is a native linux port of a game that the non native installer get removed to encourage native linux installs?
They also support Codeweavers since it supports WineHQ:
Information
PlayOnLinux mainly relies on WineHQ project. If you want help them and to get a professional support of wine, please consider buying codeweavers products.
We would also like to thank ScummVM and DOSBox projects
