Participantso, I got this 7″ capacitive touch screen (although for the most part I won’t be using the touch screen part) and have a raspberry pi 3 (i use the internal bluetooth to connect with 2 ps3 controllers) Everything runs great however I hit a snag; it’s naked. If anyone knows/would like to help me out; i’d be glad to share measurements and anything you’d need to create an enclosure. There are 4 holes in each corner and I have plenty of screws and stuff to connect things.

MemberI’m using an antique radio housing I got sans-guts at an auction for 7 bucks for a jukebox/pi project.
In fact, maybe you can help me. I’m trying to figure out if I can connect an amp or amp+DAC with a 2.8″ PiTFT.
The only ones I’m finding are both hats, and I don’t see a way to break them out such that I can confirm I won’t have a conflict for some specific pin. All seem to use the SPI pins for each unit, and I”m not sure they can share (fairly novice at this)February 3, 2017 at 3:49 am #77264linuxgnuru
Participantas for the TFT screen; just use the hat; for the audio amp; you could get something like this https://www.adafruit.com/products/1552
(stero amp) and just solder the power (3.3v or 5v) and ground; then solder the audio out +L/-L, +R/-R on the Pi to this board and just solder in some speakers. -
