Welp, I got 3 from a Humble Bundle so I can’t refund it.

    Might as well try it.

From what I heard, it performs the same as Faildows version

Since when does an eON wrap job require source code…? I thought that was the whole point.

It can run as a runtime wrapper graphical translation layer, similar to IndirectX and Valve’s ToGL.

    That said, it’s broken:

    I keep getting stuck there.

    What do you mean stuck?

    You need to keep falling

That’s the problem, I’m not falling. Nothing else but my character moves. It’s broken.

That was also a bug in Saints Row IV, it happened to me maybe 3 or 4 times in 31 hours of total play time. Reload the game and it should run fine (until it gets stuck again…)

    That’s lovely…

You wanna know what’s even “better”, take a look at those 2008 graphics and the framerate:

Getting more or less 60 FPS here (ultra settings), is your game locked at 30?

It’s not locked at 30, inside the safehouse I’m getting 130+ FPS on Ultra too. It’s the moment I walk out into the city it tanks.

Ok, so it’s pretty much the same as SR4, I would get framerate drops while flying over the city. The performance was not spectacular on Windows, add an eOn port on top of that making it less than optimal on AMD CPUs and there you have Saints Row on Linux. Still enjoyed SR4 though, it’s an awesome game. Too bad that VP gets all the fun games while Feral releases a bunch of Total War games (ok, they released Alien and Mordor, those are really cool).

    SR2 on Fglrx 15.9 (Radeon 6850) :

    High: 12-20Fps
    Medium: 12-20Fps
    Low:20-25Fps (22-35 Fps without AF)

Also the camera pans to the left for unknown reasons
