MemberOk here are the requirements and no where does it say DOS box required……..I think we need to be asking valve some questions…….

Graphics: 100% OpenGL accelerated card or onboard graphics
Hard Drive: 128 MB available space

KeymasterMy guess it’s a self contained DOSBox wrapper. Like the Linux version of the original Fallout on Desura.

MemberYeah but what happens when the Wine guys say ok we are done……..they have had enough time to make native products. No more updates. Then you have nothing new working with it at all. Like Venn said it works for Legacy not the latest and greatest. There should be a native for the latest and greatest.

ParticipantThe Windows version of Shadow Warrior Classic (not the one recently released for Linux) used DOSbox, nothing wrong with that. Thank to DOSBox usage I was able to write a Linux installer really easily (http://lutris.net/games/shadow-warrior/). And yes, if a games uses DOSBox, it ships with it’s own version of DOSBox.
