    The four traditional XYBA buttons are not all that used anymore since both thumbs are busy with the analog stick like the d-pad XYBA is a relic of pre-dualshock 1 era. R1R2 and L1L2 are way more used now and look at how they split xyba on two side. and no dpad. Your left thumb will control XY your right BA this configuration make them way more easier to use because they are closer to both directional pad*. Also look at how they also split both trigger you still use your index for R1L1 but am guessing the ring fingers will be used for R2L2. The more I look at it the more I think a lot of work went into making that controller.

    *I don’t have a name for those thing anybody?
