Compositing and Steam overlay were likely the cause of my weird results from my last benches.

I wasn’t running it with Compositing enabled, and doing so didn’t yield any gains. Disabling the Steam Overlay did.

In honor of 355.00.29 being released… and this time with the Steam Overlay turned off.

tl; dr – OpenGL seems slightly faster, Vulkan a touch slower, but nothing dramatic.

For me it brought back the performance bump from the .28 drivers which the .29 had taken away.

The benchmark is about the same but one thing I did notice. Previously [nope]on Breaking Bad[/nope] the bench started out in the 70’s but now it starts out in the high 80’s.

NVidia 367.35 drivers, busted as they are, do have a performance boost. Marginal, but far beyond the 1-2FerPS variance.

With the 367.35 I managed two extra FERPS.

    980 /w composting disabled.
