A new adventure game is available for Linux on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/233370/
Still a bit expensive, but the fact that it’s not yet another 2D indie game kinda justifies that.

I noticed that Nordic Games don’t get much attention in the Linux gaming world, they should deserve more. There are not that many companies that are as serious about Linux support as they are.

I’m still waiting for the Painkiller port to be released, I think it has its place among my favorite Steam games. I also own the 2 games in the Critter Chronicles series which both are excellent adventure games ported flawlessly to Linux.

With that in mind (and looking at the scores in Metacritic), I’m pretty sure that The Raven is 3 chairs worthy.

Indeed, Painkiller was one hellofa game multiplayer… very similar gameplay to Quakeworld actually. Easier to build up momentum bunnyhoppin’ and game with fullbright character model skins in vanilla version. There is a SMALL community of players still the last time I checked, but most were using a mod version called pk++ or something like that. I could only find a windows binary for it so I noped out with a quickness.
