Really? This “runs on MAC and PC” shite is getting outdated with a quickness. Linux, Windows, and OSX all run on the PC.

Makes tracking down new Linux games a proper PITA.

I sometimes miss the 100% IBM compatible…. but only sometimes.

I remember having a Cyrix 6×86 CPU that was something along the lines of 97% compatible.

I used to work and know the guys at Cyrix,I used to save them motherboards to test with out our shop in Richardson, TX. It was called Home and Business Computers, Cyris was just on the other side of I35. I miss those days.

Those were interesting times. I left them behind with the introduction of the AMD K5 series.

To this day I only buy AMD since I remember the $$$ of the Intel only past.

Funny thing is Cyrix technology became AMD technology after being bought by National then VIA and then AMD bought the line Geode that was Cyrix MediaGX……….
