so 90% of all my youtube subscriptions are full of shit about ball bearings and RPMs regarding “fidget spinners” and … i haven’t a clue wtf these things are. Could someone fill me in? Is ti some millinial thing?
A fidget spinner is the lastest piece of plastic to have a bluetooth speaker unnecessarily crammed into it.

It started as a neat “first project” for new 3d-printer owners, then the chinese discovered that people (Americans at least) would pay $5 for them, and they showed up in every flea market and corner store in the nation. Now it’s some weird epidemic of massive proportion for public education.
I say, connect some magnets and wiring to them and make a quota for each child to spin them enough to power the light bulb in their classroom, that’ll make them unpopular right quick.To be more specific; it’s a molded piece of plastic on an axis that can easily be held between finger and thumb with some weighted objects integrated to give mass such as to allow the user to “flick” and cause to spin around the axis
