MemberJust gave this little gem another try and I’m digging it. If anyone here plays it, let’s setup to run a few rounds after the show one week.

ParticipantI’d love to play some Xonotic, especially if it’s not with the 10 same players who spend their day on the game on the only populated server ^^
Actually, that’s pretty much the case for every multiplayer game I’d like to play: a dozen servers with 1 or 2 players, 1 or 2 server with an acceptable amount of (ultra-hardcore) players and a shitload of empty servers.
I’m going to tackle this problem in Lutris soon, users will be able to subscribe to a list of games they want to play online, and once enough players are connected simultaneously, a notification will popup proposing to start a multiplayer game. I don’t have a release date for this feature yet, but I think I’ll ship it with Lutris 0.3.4. (As always, Python coders are welcome to help me on this

MemberI haven’t noticed lag TOO badly per say, but I did have pretty high overseas ping times compared to some other games. But I spent most of my time getting used to it in a Seattle server when I was pinging 15 LOL. BOOYAH!

MemberBy the way… so far I’m seeing ALOT of the great old Quakeworld maps remade for Xonotic. I always end up falling for these little unimportant shooters with no community. Just when I learned to love again…
