The new box is up and running proper. I was a bit thick only putting 8RAM in it BUT it still does SOLID encoding. I  need something faster (and Linux supported) than a 9500GT 1GB Dual. I built the new box on my old 10.10 image and saved the Core14 image for later, why? IT WORKS! Really, what nailed me was someone asking about a problem with Trine and I was all “FFS, OK”
