About:
Gameplay
Gameplay can differ quite substantially from arena to arena, but for now, the only arena type that is really being played is the eponymous Revenge Of The Cats: Ethernet type.
Revenge Of The Cats: Ethernet Arenas
ROTC: Ethernet arenas are divided into rectangular zones and two teams fight over control of these zones.
Players can switch at will between two different forms: The flying, indestructible “Etherform” and a humanoid, weapon-wielding physical manifestation called a “CAT”.
Players start out in Etherform and need to find a zone owned by their team in order to manifest as a CAT. As CAT, players take zones for their team simply by being inside the zone while no enemy CAT is also present in the zone. The zone then turns red or blue, depending on which team captured it. If CATs of both teams are present, the zone remains white.
The game is won if the opposing team has lost all their zones.

If you’re gonna play, make sure to ask in IRC for some players (IRC client also embedded in-game).
Then you may get quite some more players to play with. :)
Kissaki0, there is a little bot that notes when players join a game in IRC, no? When I joined /w/ LinuxGameCastRECORDING (that was a live video) player I.D. only one showed up. I love the game but WhoTF is going to check IRC?
I swear I thought this was a sequel to Revenge Of The Titans…
