  • Steam Dev Days is a two-day game developer’s conference for video game professionals

The Stanley Parable

Axis Game Factory

  • PREMIUM version ($79.99) is also designed to work in concert with the Free and Pro versions of the Unity 4 game engine to allow further customization and game publishing

  • This is the first non-game software shipped on the Steam Linux client.

Dead Sky

  • FK mothering “Partial Controller Support” WTH (had to reassign the trigger button)

  • Graphics are meh and somehow a bit choppy on my 770

FTL: Advanced Edition

  • Coming 2014-ish

  • Adds a whack of new content in the form of new loot

  • Whar android version

OpenMW v0.27.0

  • Acrobatic skill now implemented

  • Requires the latest libogre is 1.8.1 that’s if you’re doing updates

  • Easy fix for lib issue create symlink

The piano

  • Long intro is  LONG ..and boring.

  • Another fine example of someone “porting” a game without testing.

  • It constantly rotates to the left. I thought this was some wacky game mechanic until I ALT+tabbed and and it stopped.

  • Not just on your end.   Does the same thing on both amd and nvidia boxen

Lips of Suna 0.8.0

  • I’ve tried playing this fkr for years.

  • As with all past experiences I was full-metal WTF am I supposed to be doing after five minutes.

  • Tried playing this as well models are all female.

  • It wants an older version of libOgre 1.7

    • Ogre deps = nightmare fuel

  • Builds Fine on F20 Beta

  • I have no idea what is going on.   Where am I?  Who am I?

MegaGlest 3.9.0

  • performance improvements

  • menu gui improvements

  • Added Hebrew, Arabic, Vietnamese (and others).

  • needed to relink /usr/lib64/ to /usr/lib64/ and and /usr/lib64/ to /usr/lib64/

  • Get some video screweyness on the AMD box until you change to a native resolution

  • A brawler set in the 50’s

  • for the Hillbillies

  • It is Unity

  • To play it is recommended to have controller, “You really need a controller to play”

  • Multiplayer locally not networked.

  • Interestingly enough, Both Xbox and Ps3 controllers don’t work on this game, at least on F20 beta

  • Like the rockabilly soundtrack though

– Nooope

Game: Nuclear Dawn (beta)

Devel:  InterWave Studios

Engine: Source engine

Price: $9.99

Makes with the working

  • Known memory corruption bug

  • I’d like to give it a –

  • Reason for minus chair they have known about this issue for a few days and have not addressed it. No update no patch, maybe beta but come on. Give a fuck about your product.

  • Turned off multi-core rendering made no diff……..Lock-up, Lock-up, Son of a Bitch Lock up.

  • Give the following error everytime when trying to play the game

    • nd_linux: malloc.c:2369: sysmalloc: Assertion `(old_top == (((mbinptr) (((char *) &((av)->bins[((1) – 1) * 2])) – __builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd)))) && old_size == 0) || ((unsigned long) (old_size) >= (unsigned long)((((__builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd_nextsize))+((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) – 1)) & ~((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) – 1))) && ((old_top)->size & 0x1) && ((unsigned long)old_end & pagemask) == 0)’ failed.

Shiny / Sounds

  • The menus are quite nice.

  • The game? FK all if I know, hard-locks long before I ever managed to play.

  • I see nazing!  NAZING!

  • Sounds and music are great

  • Menus function and looks nice

  • Never got in game so no idea what it even looks like.

  • Again, the menu controls are nice and tidy but no idea about the actual game.

  • Only control I saw was menus and options game control is non existent, due to game not running.

  • All in all Menu Simulator 2014 is a mixed bag.

  • I Laughed, I Cried, I wondered what else I could have bought for $9.99

  • Nope, expected a really good game and got a game that get’s one dev response 3 days ago

  • psychonic  [developer] Nov 20 @ 7:51pm

  • Thanks for your patience guys. I’m still working on a patch for this and some other issues.
