Censor a valid review much?

http://steamcommunity.com//id/unaccounted4//recommended/248410/

  • By censoring a valid review you only made it stronger. Dumbarses.

  • They removed the abusive flag. I’m glad I got a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/sUb2AJd.png

  • “The flagging of that review was a mistake, and the flag has since been removed. -Anthony”

    • Damn right it was a mistake, it made sure at least twice as many people saw the BS you’re trying to sell under the guise of a game.

Jagged Alliance – Back in Action

http://steamcommunity.com/app/57740/discussions/0/648812916932163326/

  • I think I played Jagged Alliance 2 back in 99-2k

  • It wasn’t a very memorable game, in my opinion anyways.

  • I loathe turn-based strategy games but good on em.

SteamWorld Dig

http://store.steampowered.com/app/252410/

  • It worked OOTB.

  • Claims it’s like Metroid but that’s a damn lie.

Space Hulk confirmed

http://rootgamer.com/8671/news/space-hulk-linux-confirmed

  • Fuck Imperium, Tau FTW!  Whar Fire Warrior 2!?!

Space Terraria 9000

http://store.steampowered.com/app/211820/

  • Plays almost exactly like tererria

  • Had some issues with the linux client.   Can’t chop down trees apparently

    • Huh, apparently you don’t use axes to cut down trees

  • On one hand I’m curious to see what an online drop-in/drop-out space Terraria can do.

  • On the other hand it’s Terraria and that game didn’t exactly tickle me the right way.

  • Then again I’ve been hearing good things about this game, so I don’t know.

Ravensword: Shadowlands

http://store.steampowered.com/app/253410/

  • Welp, got suckered into this one.

  • Unity port of a mobile game

  • RPG my arse. More like hack-and-slash

  • Controls only work in windowed mode

  • Oh look, games I already own. Except Garry’s Mod, but I’m not giving that asshole any money.

  • I like how lately in order to get any linux games in the recent bumble grumbles you pretty much have to pay over qa1w2eZthe average.

  • ALSO WHY THE FUCK DOES MANOS NOT HAVE A STEAM CLIENT

Makes with the working

V-

J-

P-

  • had to go config file hunting to get the game to work. ~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Signal Ops/assets/data/config.yml

  • Disabling fullscreen and specifying a resolution made it work properly.

  • Gets two chairs because the Dev went so far as to recommend I use the WINE version instead: http://steamcommunity.com/app/257770/discussions/1/648812304908575072/

Shiny / Sounds

V-

  • Graphics are meh. I tried to like the art style but it never clicked.

  • Voice work is meh+

J-

  • Props for being decently voice acted.

  • The game still looks like shit though

P-

  • Character movement is choppy, could be my calculator but with those low res graphics I doubt it.

  • Voice work is actually nice to have in an indie game, thumbs up for that.

  • I like the presentation, though! The whole atmosphere the game presents itself with is well thought out

  • It’s like you’re playing a game about someone playing a game with soldier’s lives.

Control

V-

  • Gamepad support is a jumbled mess *glares at virtual gerbil*

  • Keyboard + gerbil is the only way to go but the default layout is mental.

  • Really, I was taking notes on the “left click twice” etc

J-

  • These are some bass-ackward controls ya got here

  • Extremely Convoluted

P-

  • Comes configured with the alt key as the Hold key to enable in-game cursor by default, needless to say that shit don’t fly in Linux.

  • The first game I actually had to INCREASE my mouse sensitivity and even then it was slow as balls. Figured out the best solution was to leave the slider halfway and just toggle my mouse’s DPI mode to a higher value.

FUN

V-

  • 30min in and I’m still not playing the game.

  • Write a manual FFS

  • The forced attempt at humour, gah!

J-

  • This game is just boring.   The controls are fucked and I could barely make it 20 minutes in

P-

  • It’s not what I was expecting and in this case that is a somewhat bad thing.

  • I was expecting something along the lines of Commandos 3, with slightly more stylized graphics.

  • I got first person Frozen Synapse with textures instead.

http://slexy.org/view/s20J7RAi5d

  • Not only did you not provide a link to a Linux demo, you don’t even have the game working under Linux. We don’t do half-bitten globoids or wall mounted glass frames around these parts!

  • Really? Need I add a fk mothering BLINK tag?!11?
