Silence On The Line: Survival Horror Gets Pixelated

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think horror? No, not Spiceworld, pixels! Silence on the Line mixes up the played out survival horror genre with wacky retro graphics and a pulse. Check with the judge.

Silence on the Line is a survival horror game that was developed during Global Game Jam 2013. In the game, the player finds himself on a haunted submarine where he is bing hunted by deadly spirits. The sound of the player’s heart is the only indication that the player has of their impending doom. The faster the heart rate, the more likely it is that the player will die from fright.

The game is built with Unity and runs OOTB (minus some gerbil sensitivity issues) on our Ubuntu 12.04 test box.
