  • Now /w HD goodness

Steam News:

Steam Music

They listen

  • Good on them.   Tried it out on the steambox  and its pretty decent with a controller

  • I would have certainly given this game a higher score had controller support not been an issue

    • Ditto

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart

  • Finally! A “retro” game that doesn’t over do it.

  • Frame by frame puzzle adventure, with proper casual mode.

Inb4 Contra-clone

  • WINE

    • Begun in full, the WINE “ports” have…

  • No gamepad support

  • No cloud save

  • I don’t need a WINE wrapped minefield in my Steam store.

  • Where is the link to the sourcecode of wine wrapper you used? Part of your product etc…

  • Kids, the moral of the story is to not buy wine ports on steam.   EOF

  • its about gorram time

Little Racers STREET

  • They didn’t ask anyone to port the game for them. They picked up the tools and did it themselves.

  • Would explain the range of problems people are having.

  • “Piracy is much easier because of that openness” wat?

  • So crap reason #1, Crap reason #2 and crap reason #3.   Very good, I’m going to go install windows now

  • Talk about misinformed devs. Problem is, I think this one is ignorant by choice.

Ten open source games are nominated for the Project of the Month March 2014

  • My vote goes for Tales of Maj’Eyal

Pandora 2 electric boogaloo

  • Remember when I said Pandora was a dead project?

  • At this point, have at. Nobody listens to Zathras.

Linus gives NVIDIA the finger

TAMI Heavy Industries

  • Top-down Livalink with graphics to make Teleglitch look advanced.

  • You need to futz /w the CMake file before building on Debain.

Wazzat: Saturday Morning RPG is an episodic JRPG set in world heavily inspired by 1980s Saturday morning cartoons and pop culture. Players take the role of Martin “Marty” Michael Hall, an average high-school student who has just been granted an incredible power – a power that ultimately leads him to attract the ire of the world’s most notorious villain, Commander Hood! Saturday Morning RPG features a full soundtrack by legendary 80s composer Vince DiCola (Transformers: The Animated Movie, Rocky IV) and his composing partner, Kenny Meriedeth (contributor for DuckTales, Power Rangers, X-Men, and others).

Makes with the working

Shiny / Sounds

  • I’m well known for my love of retro pixel games.

  • Skirting copyright simulator 2014

  • Unity3d textures mixed with pixel art hurts my brain.   pick a style and stick with it!

  • I have astigmatism. I’m the guy that has to disable Ambient Occlusion in games to be able to play them for longer than 10 mins.

  • Blurry characters and sharp pixelated  backgrounds make my head hurt.

  • Kiss that D pad goodbye.

  • Jerking around your joystick simulator 2014

  • Dinging it a chair due to timing based minigames for combat

  • Holy mother of unintuitive mess.

  • Fuck Quick-time events, fuck them up the ass.

  • Are we supposed to care about the character?

  • Or is the “plot” just a nostalgia delivery mechanism?

  • A wizard who loves to powerglove.   Its so bad.

  • Worth two nostalgia chairs

  • I like JRPGs. This isn’t it.

  • This is another high brow indie game that hides its shortcomings behind the guise of parody. Except it’s not even parody, it’s referencing. Pure, unadulterated pop-culture referencing without a vestige of humor.

  • Yeah me, the guy who giggles like a goddamn lunatic, didn’t find your game funny despite the obviously desperate attempts the game has.

Final –

Hate Mail:

Want some pancakes?

  • Fair is fair, I’ll be taking it for a spin next week.

  • This is how we lose friends.

  • I’ve often considered leaving my carrier in child therapy.

  • You mean quit his job doing voicework for radio in order to do voicework for radio?   BRILLIANT!
