Shiny / Sounds

V-

  • For what it is, shiny.

  • The background music could use some work.

J-

  • Its actually fairly decent looking

P-

  • Have to ding it a chair because those sky boxes are horrible and they contrast with how nice the rest of the game looks.

Control

V-

  • Works with the Xclone 360 gamepad but the default layout is a bit wonky.

  • Sharper controls /w keb+gerbil but holding Lft button while moving gets painful after a while.

J-

  • Wonky is a bit of an understatement

  • Works much better with a keyboard and mouse.

  • The aiming requires a mouse but movement requires an analog stick

P-

  • Dual Shock 2 works Outhabox

  • Playing with keyboard with mouse isn’t as much a hindrance as other games, bonus points for that.

FUN

V-

  • If you like competing for the high score or local co-op with with friends I could almost recommend it. Hell, if it supported online multiplayer I would.

  • I enjoyed the first few levels but it became hella repetitive with a quickness.

  • Single players does not make with the fun.

J-

  • The missions are pretty short, so this is an easy pick up and play

  • I didn’t really enjoy it all that much

P-

  • Too frustrating for me to give it the perfect score.

  • Shotgun android (Coral) is great for most levels but sucks in bosses.

Verdict –

  • Are you looking for a decent Bullet Hell game with non-retro, pixel graphics? This is your game! No questions asked, no quarter given.
